What If Plants Could Speak? A Call for Environmental Care

My pets are my plants and I do communicate with them regulalry. But we interact with the sense of touch and not with the spoken words. 

To answer this prompt, let us assume that the plants are talking to me.

The first thing they will convey their anger over the ruthless cutting of trees in my city and across the cities in the name of development. Whenever you want to built new colonies for humans, they will cut the trees and then the construction will start. You make big promises to re-plant the trees or relocate them but nothing is done. The percentage of jungles is shrinking. 

My plant says, we grow big and provide shelter & protect all living beings from hot sun and rains. We have huge biodiversity living within us in the forms insects, birds and animals. When you cut one large tree, you destroy the whole world of millions of insects and steal the food for birds & animals.

Stop being greedy, this planet is shared by all the living beings and not only by humans. Don’t act selfish and steal everything provided by the planet for your own benefit.

Remeber this planet is provided for co-living and you cannot live here happily by destroying the resources like water and environment. All the humans create so much of waste and throw across the planet. The waste like plastic is killing the marine life, animals and the birds. 

The plant will humbly say that, we absorb Co2 and provide Oxygen for your living. However if you destroy the forests & jungles, where will you get the required Oxygen from?

Hence Stop Being Greedy and follow the simple principle of Live & Let Live. 

Protect the Planet & Preserve the Future.
