Scientific name- Falco amurensis The Amur falcon (Falco amurensis) is a small raptor of the falcon family.

A family of Amur Falcon has been resting in Lonavala near Pune.
The migratory bird Amur Falcon for traveling longest distance in a year when migrating. The journey of Amur Falcon begins in cold from Mongolia, they go to the northern part of China for breeding. After this, they stop in the forest of Nagaland and Manipur to rest. They then reach Arabian Sea via Maharashtra and Karnataka. They have short rest in the cold area of the Pune area.
