Off the beaten Path travel

What’s one piece of travel advice you always follow?

Choose off-the-beaten path location for your travel. Different from the most popular chosen by common travellers.

Off-the-beaten-path travel destinations offer uncrowded landscapes, authentic local cultures, and peaceful alternatives to major tourist hotspots.

Now a days, the travel has become a fashion or a status symbol. It is a great pride that you have tick marked the must go vacation sites by visiting them. And you have a selfie from that place. This can be the perfect flaunting thing in a kitty party.

I am sure, if you ask any one from these kitty parties about the history/geography of the place they visited, they will not be able to tell you. Neither they will have any knowledge of the historical significance of the place they visited. People visit a famous place, without looking around they start clicking pictures or start making reels, and then they are ready to move to another place.

The places you visit, they are fully crowded with such travellers.

You cannot explore a famous place like this. You should first understand the history behind the place and then start exploring. Then you can decide to click pictures.

Identify off-beat location

Please choose such a place which is, off beat. Not the popular or famous place the people visit. There are many such places around. Find such location, which is lesser known to people and not so much crowded.

The advantage of choosing such place is that, you can explore the place peacefully. It will ot be crowded and the sanctity of the location will be maintained.

My recent trip to Chakrata, Uttarakhand

I recently visited Uttarakhand for wildlife photography. During our return journey, we took a 3 days stopover at Chakrata. It is less visited and less crowded but beautiful hill station in Uttarakhand.

Such destinations, you can explore on your foot. That is the best way to understand the local culture and traditions. You get to people living in that area, you get to know the famous local food joints.

That was my piece of advice for the new travellers.

Thank you my dear readers for stopping by
