A work or a task if you are doing for pursuing your hobby, it is interesting and you love to do it, however if the same task becomes your job, then the problem starts. Once that becomes your job, you will be given targets, you will be questioned for the results. Then you loose freedom which exists in the hobby part. Hence only few get a chance to do what they like else they have to like what they do.
To answer the prompt, I would choose to do gardner’s job. I love gardening. It gives me joy and relieves my stress. It is like taking care of your baby and watch the baby grow.
It is the act of recreation. Watching the plant growing from a small shoot to the beautiful plant gives immense satisfaction. It is direct acknowledgment of our efforts which can be seen and felt. Colourful flowers and different shades of green are soothing to our eyes.
A gardener’s job is not so easy. You need to take care of the plants on regular basis like you care a growing child. The plants require regular watering, needs fertiliser and sunlight.
The plants need some love for their healthy growth. They understand human emotions and the love through our touch.
Hence I would love to do gardener’s job if salary does not matter.
