Daily writing prompt
What’s a conspiracy theory you actually find believable?

Honestly speaking, I am not interested in any conspiracy theory, neither I have studied any of the theory to believe or deny.

To answer the prompt, I googled the available conspiracy theories and realised that I have not heard of them neither I had any interest to study them in details. But it is interesting to learn about the meaning of conspiracy theory and the famous theories available on internet.

A conspiracy theory is an explanation for an important or unusual event that claims a secret group of powerful people or organisation is deliberately working together behind the scenes, usually to achieve some hidden goal.

The key idea is not simply that people conspire – real conspiracies absolutely happen. The term conspiracy theory is generally used when the alleged secret plot is unproven, weakly supported or contradicted by available evidence.

Based on the information available on internet, I remember the latest conspiracy example :

The Moon landing was faked –

The theory says NASA never actually landed astronauts on the Moon in 1969 and that the landing was filmed on a set.

Reality : There is extensive evidence that the Apollo Moon landing happened, including lunar samples, photographs, tracking data and equipment left on the Moon.

I am neither interested in such theories nor affected by such theories. In my corporate life of 40 years, I was never involved in such theories nor I took interest in even knowing the details of such theories.

Generally such theories are woven around famous incidences or popular world believes of some grand event related to science, Technology or Social impact happening. Due to the popularity of the event, people are attracted towards such conspiracy theories. But in my opinion, this could cause social tumroil or distraction of people focus.

Hence my answer for the prompt is None.

  1. I feel the same way Mukund ji😊 I am not really into conspiracy theories either, but I do find it interesting how curiosity makes people explore such ideas. Reading about them can be fascinating, as long as we stay connected with facts and evidence. 🦋✨
