From Restriction to Exploration: A Journey of Change

During my childhood, travelling to places was considered to be a luxury and limited to rich class of people. I was born in a middle class family, earning bare enough to survive.

I remember my school days, when I used to come home excited with the school picnic notice, but my father never gave me permission for any of the school picnic. During my university days, our friends, used to go on vacations to distant places but I was never allowed to join that tour, due to fund shortage.

However, I was not so fussy about it, I used to let it go, considering the financial limitations. The joys of childhood, were limited to two short pants & shirts each year, one movie ticket a year and one visit to a restaurant in a year.

Travelling was never a part of my childhood dreams. However, I used to explore nearby places on bicycle. I used to like mountain hikes and nature trails. Sometimes alone or sometimes with the friends.

This childhood hobby of exploring the nature, got converted to Photography & Travelling. I travelled extensively for my work across the continents and across the countries. My inquisitive nature, and interest in connecting with people got me hooked to this hobby and I became kind of backpacker.

Today I travel to various places for wildlife photography and exploration. I have long list of places to be visited. Thailand & New Zealnd are the toppers in the list.

I strongly believe, travelling teaches you to be human and keeps you grounded. Looking at the cultural diversity & variety of people you develop patience.

Breaking away from a restrictive upbringing to see the world is a powerful and rewarding personal transformation.
