The day I received gift from dad…

If you could relive one day from your past, which day would it be and why?

If I get a chance to relive a day from my past, it would be a day when I got a wrist watch gift from my father. It’s a sweet memory of my young age.

I had just completed my 10th grade exam and passed in first class with good marks. My dad had promised me that he will gift me a wrist watch if I secure first class. And on the day when result was declared, I was so happy to realise that I have secured first class and I am liable to get brnaded wrist watch.

I came home with my progress card, dancing and screaming entered the house. I was eager to show my progress card to my dad so that he could buy the gift for me. When I reached home I was welcomed by my mother and sisters. And they greeted me and congratulated me for the success I achieved, however I was searching my father but couldn’t find him.

My mother and sisters were all making fun of me when I asked about my father. With the passage of time, I was about to cry then my dad entered the house with a gift box. I was so delighted to see that. And then he hugged me and gifted the watch to me. He said I knew the result in the morning itself ao I rushed to the market to buy a gift for you.

It was HMT make expensive watch, which was actually my dream. I thanked my dad and off course the whole family for this wonderfull gift. I was already dreaming to flaunt my expensive watch on the first day of my junior college.

Those days, HMT watches were the most popular and expensive brand. I was so happy to get such a precious gift for my success in 10th Grade exams.

Hence, given a chance I would like to relive that day from my teenage.
