Top 10 milestones of my life movie

What are your top ten favorite movies?

I am not a moviegoer though I have seen few bollywood movies. I agree with my fellow bloggers that movies have lasting impact on the society and the people. Many movies convey the message of something important for us. However I look at the movies as pure entertainment. In the recent years movies are doing more harm than good for the people.

Hence I will write about milestones of my life’s journey.

Development of an Elocutor

In my school days I bagged first prize for consecutive four years on Elocution competitions. I was highly praised at home and in the school for this skill. I never hesitated or had fear of audience. This was the beginning of my journey as a Elocutor.

Admission to Technical subject

In my high school days I was pretty sure that I want to be an Engineer. To ensure that I get additional credits for admission to Engineering, I took technical as an optional subject during my high school years. This has helped me to get admission to good Engineering college in my hometown. During our time, only available colleges were Government run and no private college existed.

My first Cycle gifted by my father

Yes. My first bicycle was gifted to me by my father in 1978. The year I passed out SSC with first class. This was the beginning of my love affair with cycling.

First job through campus selection

I passed out in 1981 and before the results were released I was selected in an Auto manufacturing company. My father was Deputy Director of Industries and he offered me a job in well paying company but I declined politely and said I want to create my own identity based on my abilities. And I joined the company in Pune and started my struggle to build the future.

Life away from Home

I came out of my house for the work at the age of 18 years and it was big discussion at home. That time it was not so easy for my mother to allow me to stay away from home. But my father was very supportive and he convinced my mother. Staying alone and managing everything independently made me tough and confident. Though I was home sick for sometime initially but then got good friends and learned to live alone. Trust of my parents and good upbringing helped me to stay focused and away from the bad habits.

New phase of life with my wife

I got married and started new phase in life. Within 6 months we shifted to Nashik for my new job. I have written elaborate post on my life at Nashik so I would not repeat here about my life at Nashik.

Life at German multinational

This was the most wise decision to join this company. Fully employee centric company and great freedom to perform. I visited our worldwide plants and learned latest technology. Gathered many friends. This company gave me social status and financial stability. It was big name in Nashik that time.

Leading Family life

My two princes arrived within 6 years of marriage and our life was revolving around them. Their schooling and then classes, competitive exams and what not. It was certainly a Herculean task. We managed with our collaboration and understanding.

My education milestones

I was continuously learning and attending college even after marriage. The scene at home was like a study centre. My wife used sit with two daughters for their school homework and I used to study for professional courses. I can proudly say that I have completed total 6 post graduate courses post my marriage.

My life outside company

After stabilising in the job, I started journey as a guest lecturer for MBA colleges at Nashik. I even headed a professional institute as a Chairman. I was active volunteer for our CSR activities. This was quite fulfilling and satisfying for me. After a service of 35 years in the same company, I retired in 2023. Now enjoying retired life. Prey god 🙏 for good health.

Hope you like this journey, you can tell me in comments.

Thank you for reading my post completely.

Stay happy and keep smiling 😊

  1. “Our life itself… is a movie… We are the director of our life.. how well we use our experiance to direct our life.. determines whether our life movie would be hit .. or flop ..”

I loved the concept of your post… “Life movie”.  And the way you move ahead in your life and set your milestones…is truly amazing..

In fact … The way you kept learning and growing even after marriage.. that’s truly inspiring…  Because we today’s youth feel really scared and hesitate..even listening the term .. “MARRIAGE”… let alone going through the process..

Thanks for sharing your wonderful life movie..

    May God bless you…🌻

  3. What fantastic milestones, Mukund sir! It’s so great that I came across your posts and got to know you through your words.
That famous line, “All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players,” comes to mind. While that idea was a central theme in Raj Kapoor’s film Mera Naam Joker, the quote itself is originally from William Shakespeare’s play As You Like It. It’s truly inspiring to see you play your part with such dedication and honesty.
    😇♥️
