What do you love about where you live?

Nashik is an ancient city in Maharashtra, known for its religious significance, particularly as a Hindu pilgrimage center on the Godavari River. It’s also recognized for its wine production and vineyards, earning it the nickname “Wine Capital of India”. Historically, it’s linked to the epic Ramayana and is home to various temples, forts, and ghats.
Irrespective of the Nature and religious importance, the city where your memories are made is the city we love. People love the places whether or not beautiful, big or small but has attached sweet memories to the place.
I came to Nashik city with lots of dreams and aspirations. I was just married and we were starting new phase of life. We came here with one bag of clothes and lot of dreams to lead our life together.
Lots of romantic memories are made in every famous place in Nashik. Though it was a small town then, we got enough privacy. People are so nice, they helped us to stabilise in the new place and supported well in our difficult times.
I grown multifold in this city together with my wife on the professional side. I started my career as Junior Engineer and retired as a General Manager. This city gave me lot of beautiful friends who are my lifetime asset.
This city gave me financial stability and social status. City’s rich cultural background helped us to be more humble and grounded.
Nashik is trekker’s paradise. We formed a club called Nashik Adventure Club and trekked all the forts around. Natural beauty of this city inspired me to become a photographer.

My family grown from two of us to four. I have fond memories of my daughters up bringing in this city.
I love everything about this city. The temples, the vineyards and the mountains.
No traffic jams, less vehicle pollution and availability of all modern amenities makes this city special for me.
Serenity of the Godavari river banks makes it more divine.
Nashik is place where Lord Rama lived. At the same time it is the place where famous writers like Kusumagraj and Vasant Kanitkar lived. It is the place where great freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar lived.
I am fortunate to stay in this city.
I ❤️ Nashik

What stands out to me is how Nashik became more than a city—it became the stage for your becoming. Coming with dreams in one bag, and building a life of humility, friendship, and creative expression—that transformation mirrors the subtle ways place and purpose entwine. Your memories don’t just fill space—they give the city shape and meaning.
Thank you for showing how home isn’t only where we begin, but where our resonance blooms.
