Picturusque Friday 3 – Reverse Waterfall

This photo is from Naneghat, near Junnar Pune. This is famous reverse waterfall seen during peak monsoon. Complete area is covered with different shades of green and cloud softly flowing abobe the mountains. It’s a spectacular view.

There few more reverse waterfalls in Maharashtra. One on Anjaneri hill close to my city and another close to Lonavala.

Reverse Waterfall is a fascinating natural phenomenon that is a must-see for adventure seekers in Maharashtra. The unique waterfall flows upwards, against the natural direction of gravity, creating a breathtaking spectacle of cascading water. This phenomenon occurs due to the strong winds in the area that push the water upwards and cause it to flow in the opposite direction. Visitors can witness the awe-inspiring Reverse Waterfall in various locations in Maharashtra, including Lonavala.

Enjoy the video below to experience reverse waterfall.
