Life in an Alternate Universe: A Journey to Ramrajya

It’s a fiction and imaginary story.

In todays universe, I see huge sufferings. Many people have problems with respect to their families or relationships or caree or the wealth. Lot of voilence around, ill treating the women or sibling fights. Caste politics or power struggle is part of many societies. As such, these people resort to many wrong alternatives or short cut methods and land in trouble.

Today, all the Temples are fully crowded by the people. Everyone out there wants something from God. And they demand lot of things with less or No efforts. I have rarely seen people remembering god, when everything is going good. People don’t want to even listen to the advice of hard work. My friend visited an orthopedics surgeon, for his knee problem and the doctor advised him with intensive exercise regime. He said to me that the doctor is not good, he did not prescribe any medicine to me. Very unfortunate.

Let us now travel to the new universe called Ramrajya. The Universe rules by Lord Rama.

When people talk about rule according to moral code of conduct or law, we all the time hear and mention ‘Rajya of Ram’ as a model form of good governance that tells us about ‘TheEmpire of Rama’ where none suffered any kind of sufferings either of the body or mind or of politics, there was no hunger, poverty or discrimination among people. All citizens loved each other, followed their prescribed work and duties as depicted in the Veda. The Empire was based on truthfulness, without violence and
spread a polity of ethics, affection and humanism principles. According to Ram Rajya, a king is expected to look after his Praja who needs help and support instead of accumulating wealth for himself.

The way Lord Rama ruled his country was so prosperous, dharmic and wonderful that ‘Ramarajya’ as a word used to symbolize the best ideal of rule to emulate. During Rama’s rule, all his subjects lead a virtuous life; there were no thieves and there was no dacoity. There was no enemy attack on the kingdom.

In the Ramrajya, people will live happily and follow one religion of humanity. There wont be concrete jungle of big buildings or polluting vehicles. Complete green surrounding, beautiful flower gardens and colourful birds playing happily on the trees. Butterflies & bees enjoying the nectar from unplucked flowers. There will be prosperity & happiness all around.

I will play the role of spiritual healer. Will ensure that the universe is not disturbed by the ill minded people. Maintaining the harmony and brotherhood will be my job. I will teach people the Ethical practices and kindness.

Let us hope such universe will exist sometimes.
