What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?



I have been adopting certain routine for good health and well being. I would love to share with you the details.
For good health and well being, there are three things you should focus on. Regular exercise, then eating right and most importantly Positive mindset. One can easily start practising these things but the key for best results is Consistency.
Exercise or Workout
There are many ways to do exercise but you should choose wisely. The one which you love to do over and over again. For fitness, three types of exercises are essential like
- Weights for muscle strength ( Gym etc. )
- Cardio workout for the heart health ( Running, Jogging, Cycling etc. )
- Yoga for flexibility ( Yoga )
Only one type of exercise like walking may not help you for overall fitness. So the three types mentioned above are essential. I have divided my week in these three exercises and follow the routine. It surely helps in overall wellness.
Eat healthy
This is next important thing to consider. I will not discuss about ill effects of junk food, it is well known fact. I recommend that we should eat homemade foods. Include all kinds of vegetables, pulses and spices in your meals. This will keep you physically fit and also help elevate your mood and energy levels. Don’t follow the Insta reels for your diet please. If needed take the help of qualified nutritionists and plan your diet but choose wisely.
Think Positive
Most important for your well being is your mental health. Even if you exercise regularly and eat healthy foods, if you are stressed out then it will ruin all your positive energy. I know you must be thinking , how to remain positive. I will explain :
Negativity arises from overthinking. So stop overthinking. Another factor is people around you. Many times people infuse negativity into our minds. So keep away from such negative people. In any situation we must keep positivity in our minds. Another factor which is the cause of negativity is low self confidence. The person with low confidence always starts with negative thoughts. Such people should boost their confidence with proper preparation and practice. Self help books can be useful in such situations.
These three pillars are the main strategies I adopt to remain healthy and fit.
