Pilibhit Tiger Reserve in Uttar Pradesh, India, is a crucial part of the Terai Arc Landscapes, known for it’s rich biodiversity, dense Saal forests, grasslands and water bodies, making it a prime habitat for Bengal tigers and other species like Leopard , bears, crocodiles and numerous birds.
Declared a Tiger Reserve in 2008, it’s a UNESCO site for Tiger Conservation Excellence, offering safaris and eco-tourism experiences, including the scenic Chuka Beach area, attracting wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.
We did two safaris here and sighted most mammals and birds except big cats. The beauty of this forest is the dense forest of tall saal trees and misty mornings.
Enjoy the pictures and virtual visit to Pilibhit Tiger Reserve.
