Big fat Indian Wedding

What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year?

Sorry dear readers for being away from WP for almost two weeks. I was fully occupied in developing and delivering a lecture series for MSME leaders. It’s completed today so first thing I did was to connect with my readers.

Let’s get into the prompt now. There have been several positive events in my life in past year.

Daughter’s Wedding

This is most important event was my elder daughter’s wedding. This was most awaited event. Me and my wife were concerned about the marriage but my daughter was cool and taking her own sweet time. The arranged marriage is most difficult thing in today’s society. I can write a book on my experiences. The right age for marriage has been changed to 30s for girls which was 25-26 in our era. Parents are eager for the marriage but the selection criteria has changed and the process has been difficult. We were quite anxious for the marriage so the process felt too long and finally the grand celebration took place a year ago.

Purchase of new house

This took place just two weeks ago. The decision to buy and the purchase was made within 3 months time. We will shift to new home by next month.

Though it was tough decision at this age but with god’s grace we could make it.

It will bring new hopes and new dreams for us. I know you share the same feelings with me. Thanks ☺️

Completion of Bhagwad Geeta course

I completed the learning of Bhagwad Geeta course. Now I can read and understand all 18 adhyay ( sections) . I mean understand the meaning of shlokas.

I pursued the course for almost more than a year. It was my long cherished dream to be able to read Bhagwad Geeta. Which was realised this year.

Inception of Consultancy firm

This was result of a casual conversation with a friend. He suggested that I should have my own consultancy company and we registered the firm. Now working on new assignments in the name of new firm. Happy to work for my own firm.

Other events

Few more positive events took place like extension of my daughter’s VISA in US. Few other events took place which need not be mentioned.

Finally the year was eventful for our family and we enjoyed every moment.

Thank you dear readers for stopping by

Stay happy and keep smiling 😊

  1. Mukund Sir, congratulations! Wishing you continued success in the coming year—may it be a beautiful extension of this past one, with only the positives marking your calendar. Your energy was certainly missed here, but knowing you’re fully enjoying every moment elsewhere is the best news of all.😇✨
