Picturesque Friday – Reflection

One of the things that I enjoy capturing in my photography is the reflections of trees, clouds, and other elements in bodies of water such as small birds or squirrel.

In marathi it is said that “प्रत्यक्षाहून प्रतिमा सुंदर” that is Reflection looks better than the actual image. It is difficult to get an sharp reflection image. Lot of factors contribute to getting sharp reflections.

If your subject is still and your reflective surface is too, you have more options. With a tripod to steady your camera and cooperative weather to give you a nice reflective body of water, you can use a relatively slow shutter speed.
