What’s something you would attempt if you were guaranteed not to fail.

Why we need guarantee of success and who can give us guarantee of success.
I am not worried about failure. I am focusing more on efforts. You should never give up on efforts with the fear of failure. Actually failure is the best teacher to show us what should not be done.
Take calculated risk
In my opinion, we should always take calculated risks. Weight the consequences and take the risk. Always remember the universal formula of “High risk High Return” This applies to all the things in life. May be for the investment or the projects in the business or even the goals in personal life.
Balance Risk and Reward
Remember to balance the risks with rewards. When you analyse the risks and rewards, then you will be wiser to understand your risk appetite. Once you understand your risk appetite, it becomes stress free and you are less worried about the outcome.
Aim for small steps
It is important to break down the goal in small steps. It is easy to achieve and less stressful. Celebrate the achievement of each small step. You get motivated and keep going. This is a self motivation cycle.
Let me explain this with a real life example. This is story of my daughter’s marriage. Me and my wife were both struggling to make all the arrangements.
To ease out the stress, we made a sequential list of the activities. At the same time we assessed the activities which need longer lead time. We first attacked A priority items. Like banquet hall booking, caterer booking and finalisation of decorator. And the last item to focus was purchase of gifts for the guests.
This way it became so easy and less stressful that we enjoyed working together. It was fun to go out shopping and get the fulfilled things tick marked. We enjoyed the whole process. My wife was so happy with this technique because she was too much stressed up in the beginning.
To conclude, I would say that focus on making honest efforts and not on the outcome. I guarantee you will succeed.
