Together We Roar – International Tiger Day

International Tiger Day is celebrated every year on July 29. The day aims to unite all tiger range countries in an effort to enhance their conservation and management worldwide.

This year, the theme is “Securing the future of Tigers with Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities at the heart.”

As of 2025, there are 58 tiger reserves in India. These reserves are spread across 18 states and play a vital role in protecting the endangered Bengal tiger population and preserving biodiversity. The most recent addition to the list is Madhav Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh.
