Who is your favorite historical figure?

My favourite historical figure is Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Fearless freedom fighter and hard core patriot. He was known for his court speeches.
Lokmanya Tilak, also known as Bal Gangadhar Tilak, was a prominent Indian nationalist, freedom fighter, and social reformer. He was a key leader in the Indian independence movement and is remembered as the “Father of Indian Unrest.”
His rousing slogan ‘Swaraj is my birthright, & I shall have it‘ served as an inspiration for future revolutionaries during India’s freedom struggle
The Marathi newspaper Kesari was founded and written by Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a prominent leader of the Indian Independence movement. It was initially started as a cooperative effort by Agarkar, Chiplunkar, and Tilak, with Agarkar serving as the first editor. The newspaper was launched alongside Tilak’s English newspaper, Mahratta.
He was one third of the Lal Bal Pal triumvirate. The British colonial authorities called him “The father of the Indian unrest”. He was also conferred with the title of “Lokmanya”, which means “accepted by the people as their leader”. Mahatma Gandhi called him “The Maker of Modern India”.
I like him for his truthfulness and honesty. He has started Ganesh Festival in India. The main reason behind this festival was social gatherings. Even today the Ganesh Festival is celebrated in India with high enthusiasm.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day ahead and keep smiling 😊
