Papa – first time heard from my daughter

Describe one of your favorite moments.

I still remember that moment, when my daughter first time spoke complete word and that was Papa. I can’t explain the feelings. Love and care for my daughter and the excitement of becoming father. All emotions together.

Actually right from her birth we were excited and in happy mood. It was my routine that after returning from office, the first thing could be love and hug for the daughter.

After few months, she was trying to speak. And the first word she uttered was Papa. That day I returned from office and she came to me and said Papa. I was speechless for a moment. I could not even respond. It is such a beautiful feeling and fulfilling experience. These are milestones of our life journey. You settle down in your career and then get married and then expect a child. But this feeling of reinforcing that you are father now and behave responsibly comes when your little daughter calls you as Papa.

Daughters are god gifts, they make the house more loveable and beautiful. They bring gentle warmth to the house. They are caring and supportive for the family members and especially to the fathers.
