What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

In today’s world, technology is short lived. Every three years, we change the models or upgrade. As such there are no old things still in use. I was searching for the oldest thing I use, and the answer was my Engagement Ring.

When I started writing on my engagement ring, my mind went back by 35 years. It was a simple ceremony attended by close relatives. It was arranged marriage. But both of us had two pre-meetings to know each other.

Ohh those days were magical. Our courtship went for almost 6 months and then we got married. We used to go out somewhere in the city every day during the courtship. Those were the golden days. Both of us were trying to give our best to each other.

The ring brought all these memories up again. It’s a most precious possession I have and it will remain always.
