Live and Let Live

If humans had taglines, what would yours be?

Yes my tagline could be Live & Let others Live.

I don’t want to get into the debate of whether individuals should have the Tagline or not. I believe that its individual identity. The person can be described in one line.

I strongly believe and profess Individualism. That is freedom of the individuals to make life choices. We are none to judge or label them. Let others live their life the way they want. For sure we have to follow certain social, ethical and moral norms. But it’s completely unfair to criticise people for their choices or actions or beliefs.

The male dominance deep rooted in our society, often labels or makes judgemental comments on women for their choices. They are body shamed or bullied. Even today the fair skin is measured as beautiful. This is unfortunate but true.

Inclusivity is still not fully understood by us. We are not embracing the diversity in its full potential. Diversity is not only limited to gender but also includes different cultures and generations. Inclusivity includes all aspects of the human race. We have to accept it as the part of society. Once we accept and respect diversity and inclusion, we will accept the term “Let others live”.

The society will be a better place to live for every living being. When I say others, it includes all living things which includes animals, plants and all sorts of living things.

Today the picture is completely different. We are fighting for our beliefs and faith and unable to accept others. Though this comes from selfishness of few powerful individuals but the whole society is dragged into chaos.

I would appeal to all the readers for the principle of

Live and let others Live. Let go of your expectations. Respect and love others for what they are doing.
