Unplug when your brain disconnects with your body

How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

It’s very important to unplug and recharge yourself. Particularly when you’re working on a large scale project and the project duration is very limited. In such situations it happens that you encounter an issue which remains unresolved for a longer time. You keep struggling to resolve the issue but you reach the deadlock. Your brain stops responding and you are fully exhausted to find new ideas even though physically you are still up. This is the time when your brain does not respond to your body.

This is the indication that you must unplug to recharge yourself.

How to unplug

The best way to unplug is to stop working on that subject. Take a week’s break from the project. You can also take a break from work or change the work. This will ensure that the brain will break the thinking monotony or pattern for that particular issue. After the break, brain will try to think differently and you will hit the solution quickly.

This is my experience while handling complex projects. I still remember that we were struggling to resolve the issue for almost a month but not reaching even closer to the solution. Then I told my team that let’s stop the project work for a week. And we started focusing on different task for a week. Next week we started fresh for the earlier issue and we could resolve it.

Power of unplugging

This is the power of unplugging. It shows fresh perspective to the old issue. At the same time the creative mind starts working. You are able to think differently and find innovative solutions. It also rejuvenate your body. It is a sort of relaxation process.

Conclusion

One must unplug and recharge. This is applicable to work as well as relationships.

Take a break

Have a great day ahead and happy weekend ☺️
