First the follower & then a Leader

Are you a leader or a follower?

The leaders have to be good followers. The first step of leadership development is to be a follower.

Every person is in dual role of a leader and a follower. The personality evolves and the journey of this evolution is to a Leader through a follower.

To become a successful Leader , you should be a team player . And the leader should have good communication skills and in today’s world the networking skills. You cannot learn these skills in the classroom but on the field by practising.

It’s a debatable question whether the leaders are born or developed. I don’t want to get into that debate but leadership evolves through continuous learning.

For me the great leaders are the one who touches the life of the people working with him. I mean the Leader is able to make positive changes in someone’s life then he is true leader. People adore and follow such leader.
