Geet Ramayan by Shreedhar Phadake

The last live performance I attended was Concert by Shreedhar Phadake in our city. This is Marathi songs describing the complete Ramayana in the form of songs. These songs are written by famous Marathi author G. D. Madgulakar and the music composer and the singer is Late Shri Sudhir Phadake.

Now his son sings the songs with few words about his father and how these songs were composed and written.

For us these are not only songs but it is like worshipping the lord Rama. Listening to live performances is a heavenly experience. The famous artist performing in front of you with the narration of the songs background is a great experience.
