Right action at Right time

Write about a time when you didn’t take action but wish you had. What would you do differently?

This is extremely important in life to take timely action. The moment once passed does not come back. You can only regret and feel guilty about it.

My friend once told me that it is better to feel awkward at that moment than carrying guilt or regret lifelong. This was important life’s lesson.

This story is some 20 years old. I used to stay 200 miles away from my hometown and my father used to stay in my hometown. He called me once to hometown for some brief talk about the property. I could not visit immediately and then I had to go to my hometown due to his illness. I thought I will speak to him during that visit But when I reached home he was really sick and suffering. His age was 80 years then. I immediately admitted him to the hospital and his treatment started. I was continuously with him in the hospital but then he went into coma and passed away in that illness.

We could never speak again. I don’t know what was in his mind and what he wanted to discuss with me.

Hence I decided that time, henceforth not to procrastinate such things and quick action will help.

Connecting with your loved ones is most important than anything else. Your job and career comes later.

Stay connected and stay happy

Have a good day and keep smiling 😊
