Who was your most influential teacher? Why?

This story goes back to 1974 when I was in 6th standard. I had Just changed the school to English medium school from Marathi. I was struggling to cope up with the new friends and new environment.
Exactly during this time our Hindi language teacher B. Khan Sir helped me a lot. I was his favourite student. Old man with blazer & Pyjama he used to teach us Hindi. Highly experienced in his subject and very kind hearted person.
He used to call me in the teachers room to guide & clear my doubts. Initially he used to pull me in the conversation to check I am able to keep the pace with other students. His support and kindness helped me immensely to quickly adjust in new school and pick up the pace of study.
His specialty was, he used to bring scented cotton bud with him every day. Such a nice scent. Pleasing personality and always supportive to children.
I was his favourite student and he used to gift me coloured chalks. It was so precious gift for me during those days that I used to flaunt it in the class.
He used to rub his scented buds on my hands and the aroma used to be filled in for the whole day. It used to give me feeling of his presence around me.
During our childhood days, we had high influence of our teachers on our personality. We had fearful respect for the teachers and they were like Guru for us.
I cannot forget his teaching of kindness and spreading happiness.
Thank you Sir 🙏
Have a good day and keep smiling 😊
