What was the best compliment you’ve received?

This was compliment from all my department colleagues. This is 10 years ago during one of our strategy meetings, I had received this card.

It is always feel good factor to receive such nice compliments. Such compliments act as an energy booster for us and motivate us further. of course it is important to remain grounded even after such compliments.

Another compliment I received was

You are God for us.

This is 10 years back story. This compliment was given to me by school administrator. They were frantically looking for financial support to renovate the school building. The classrooms were in pathetic condition. Roof was leaking and benches were broken. I was project leader for our CSR wing and we were looking out for good projects. During our search for the projects we landed in that school for enquiry.

The moment we started the discussion with school authorities for support and finally offered them the required amount after assessment the compliment they gave was You are God for us. I was moved with this compliment and politely replied that I am just medium for this help and it is coming from our company CSR wing. But they maintained to say that I am god for them. So keep giving such compliment to people and spread happiness.
