Fate = Efforts x Opportunities

Do you believe in fate/destiny?

I don’t believe in fate or destiny. It’s a myth that our fate is written by god and whatever we achieve is our fate.

I have developed a simple arithmetic equation for fate that is Fate equals to Efforts multiplied by opportunities. You should make adequate efforts to achieve something in life and recognise the opportunities coming your way. You can carve out your destiny by making concerted efforts and making use of right opportunities to reach the goal you have decided for yourself.

Even the scriptures like Bhagwadgeeta is all about karma. And karma is nothing but your deeds or actions or efforts. Another scripture Dasbodh by Shree Samarth Ramdas has one complete chapter elaborating importance of efforts. It is clearly mentioned that you don’t achieve anything in life without efforts in right direction. Both these scriptures strongly profess the importance of Karma.

I have met many people who will keep blaming their fate or destiny for their failures. It is used as scapegoat and they escape from the responsibility of the failures. This makes them further inactive.

Hence I strongly recommend to make the efforts and achieve your goals. This way you can carve out your destiny. There is famous book by renowned Indian author Shree Wamanrao Pai titled ‘ You are sculpture of your own life’

Good day and keep smiling 😊
