Golden era of childhood

Describe a phase in life that was difficult to say goodbye to.

The obvious answer to this prompt from majority of the bloggers would be same as me ‘ The childhood’ It is the most joyful and memorable phase of life for all of us.

I still remember those days when we were happy creatures. During our childhood unlike today, there was no peer pressure, no parental pressure or so much of hardship to achieve career goals.

Once I return from school, immediately after lunch all the children used to gather at the colony grounds and start playing Indian Village games. We used to keep playing till evening when mom used to shout on us. There used to be fight amongst the friends and also friendship again. It was like study, eat, play and play.

Once in a year there used to be Ganesha Festival celebrations and I used lead the celebration committee. It was fun and lots of scope for creativity. Then there used be Holi festival of colours. This was again celebration together with the colony residents.

All these festivals nurtured my leadership qualities and event management skills. That is why this golden era is unforgettable.

I was pondering upon the question why everyone is so obsessed with childhood memories. It is clear that our childhood memories are Fearless, Joyful and innocent. No expectations from anyone no hatred for anyone and nothing to regret about.

Let us once again become child like innocent joyful and happy.
