If you could permanently ban a word from general usage, which one would it be? Why?

It is said that words are more powerful or harmful than any physical weapon. They harm people more than any physical wound. The physical wounds can be healed over time but the impact of words does not heal for years together. Every time you remember the words, it upsets you.
I have experienced in the corporate world, the style of management which can be easily called as ‘ Management by Sarcasm’. Many leaders use this technique of Sarcasm. When they are under pressure for results or due dates, they make other person feel mean or low by Sarcastic comments. And this way they prove their superiority. In the process they attack self esteem of others. This can have severe consequences for other person. It can have long lasting impacts on others health too.
Another critical process in the corporate world is giving and taking feedback. There are two ways of giving feedback, it can be constructive or destructive. Constructive feedback motivates the people but destructive feedback makes them nervous and demotivated. Traditional style of feedback is destructive meaning it has negative connotations. For example saying to an employee that you have chosen wrong alternative and this will have negative impact on company’s profitability. Instead of saying this way, it can be said in other words like check once more the alternative chosen and assess them with the impact on profitability.
Of course it is changing now and managers are trained to give constructive feedback.
In both the cases of destructive feedback and sarcasm self esteem is attacked.
Hence I strongly feel that this practice of attacking self esteem should be stopped.
Have a good day and keep smiling 😊
