Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?

I love my country, I am proud to be Indian. I respect the unity in diversity of India. India has high cultural, religious and generational diversity.

I respect law of land and follow the rule / guidelines set for citizens. I respect my Army personnel who keep us safe from any risk from outsiders.

I don’t know if this is the patriotism or it is being Good Citizen. You may ask me will you die for your country- the answer is yes. I will fight for my country and die for freedom of my people.

I don’t do any anti national activities neither support any illegal activities. Is this enough to be a patriotic person then yes I am patriotic.

For me a patriotic person will always think his/her country and will dedicate all his life towards national work selflessly. I can proudly name Mr. Narendra Modi, Indian Prime Minister as the patriotic leader. He has spent all his life working for nation. He has left his family and job and joined the work for the nation. He has never joined the rat race of Me first in professional life.

Hence I am not sure whether you can call me real patriotic person or not.
