What were your parents doing at your age?
Even at my age, my father was working post retirement to earn some money for family responsibilities.
My parents were living in joint family. My grandfather passed away when my father was young. So the responsibility of complete family was on him. Marriage of brothers and sisters. Then education and marriage of his children. So he could not retire till the age of seventy.
Comparatively we are better placed now. I can relax at the age of sixty.
